The cities of Ceres and Hughson are planning fun Halloween events for the weekend before Halloween to give families with children a safer alternative to traditional trick-or-treating.
The city of Ceres Recreation Department will host its Truck-or-Treat event on Third and North streets and Whitmore Park on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 28 between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Food, live music and games will be offered at the event. Families are encouraged to come out in costume.
Hughson event
The city of Hughson and Hughson Police Services are hosting its 10th annual Trunk or Tent and Treat event from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27. Children and adults are encouraged to come to downtown’s Hughson Avenue dressed in costume.
Those who want to participate in the Hughson event are asked to visit www.hughson.org for a registration form which has a direct link.
