Ceres Mayor Javier Lopez will deliver his annual “State of the City” address on Thursday evening, April 18, the city has announced.
The address will start at 5:30 p.m. inside the Ceres Community Center, 2701 Fourth Street.
The address typically gives the mayor a chance to highlight some of the city’s accomplishments over the past year and focus on future plans.
Lopez was elected mayor in November 2020 and has made plans to run for re-election on the Nov. 5 ballot. He is thus far being challenged by Troy Arrollo, son of former mayor Louie Arrollo.
