The Sheriff's Department has identified the victim of the Nov. 3 homicide on McGee Road in rural Ceres as Jorge Daniel Quijano, 38.

Quijano's body was found in the 3400 block of McGee Road near the Berryhill Elementary School campus. The shooting was reported at approximately 2:55 a.m. and when Ceres Police officers and sheriff's deputies responded they found a Hispanic man with a gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
