A 24-year-old rural Hughson woman riding a motorcycle was killed on Highway 99 in Keyes during a crash involving multiple vehicles during Tuesday morning’s commute.

Ireland Rolon was ejected from her motorcycle in the northbound lanes immediately west of the new Keyes Truck Center. She was declared dead at the scene.

The crash was reported at 7:54 a.m.

It was unclear how the crash occurred but the California Highway Patrol indicated that two other vehicles were involved.

The crash blocked all lanes and backed up traffic for miles but vehicles managed to divert around the scene by going off to the right side. Traffic was also blocked from entering the freeway from the Keyes Road off-ramp to the south.
