Hilario Villa Sosa, 41, was sentenced to 40 years in state prison after pleading guilty to 11 separate charges of child molestation.

Child Protective Services called Ceres Police on Nov. 2, 2016 indicating they were investigating a possible child molest case involving two female juveniles in the 2800 block of Fowler Road. Information was developed to sustain the allegations and Sosa was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Jail for committing sexual acts with a child under 10 years of age and continuous sexual abuse of a child.

Sosa was arrested in Ripon and held in the Stanislaus County Jail on $1 million bail.
