Ceres High student Stephanie Espinosa was honored last week by the Soroptimist International of Ceres as its “Girl of the Month.”

Espinosa was chosen as a remarkable student with outstanding leadership, academic achievement, and commitment to the community.

Stephanie was selected for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awakening, RYLA camp, where she further developed her leadership skills.

She also serves as the Secretary for Future Latino Leaders and as treasurer for Leadership, showing her dedication to making a positive impact on her school.

Espinosa was proudly named Homecoming Royalty, a testament to her school spirit and connection with her peers.

A standout athlete, Stephanie competed in both cross country and soccer at Ceres High, as well as playing travel soccer.

Academically, she has challenged herself with a rigorous course load, enrolling in MJC Dual Enrollment and Advanced Placement (AP) classes throughout high school. In addition to her academic and extracurricular achievements, Espinosa is committed to community service. With aspirations to enter the medical field, she hopes to volunteer at a hospital to gain hands-on experience while giving back to others in need.
