A funeral was held Thursday at the Colonial Chapel of Franklin & Downs for Carolyn Yvonne Gentry Douglas-Wright, 58, of Ceres. She died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2005at her home.
Burial was at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Born Oct. 4, 1947, Mrs. Douglas-Wright was a native of Sulphur, Okla., and had lived in Ceres since 1959. She was a caregiver for 15 years.
She leaves behind her husband, Richard Wright of Ceres; two children, Mark Douglas of Ceres and Brenda Douglas of Dayton, Nev.; her stepson, Richard Wright Jr. of Sacramento; two brothers, Bill Gentry of Oroville and Harold Gentry of Oklahoma; three sisters, Collene Fedrick of Oklahoma, Leona Gilmore of Ceres and Donna Rade of Texas; and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Pete Douglas; her parents, Jessie James Gentry and Claudia Mae Goodknight; and two brothers.
