Charles “Chuck” Davis
August 9, 1941 – June 25, 2023
Chuck passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early morning of June 25, 2023, at the age of 81, after battling the effects of dementia for several years.
He is now re-united with his wife Linda who passed away three years earlier. She was the love of his life. They had been married 48 years.
Chuck was born in New Plymouth, Idaho to Harold and Elsie Davis and had four sisters and one brother.
He retired from Leprino Foods in 2000 and became a stay-at-home dad to many, many foster children. He was also very involved in Valley Christian Center in Ceres and enjoyed trips to Monterey with Linda. Chuck adored his grandkids and was famous for his smoked turkeys.
Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Linda, and son Nicholas.
He is survived by his sons, Joshua Davis and Charles Davis Jr., and his daughter Candy; his sister Pat and brother-in-Law Tom; and grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and their families.
A graveside service for Chuck and Linda will be held at 10 am Saturday, Aug 5 at Hills Ferry Cemetery in Newman.
