A funeral service was held Friday at Allen Mortuary in Turlock for Edna "Pearl" Sullivan, 84, of Ceres. She died April 11, 2010 at Brandel Manor in Turlock.
Burial was at North Hilmar Cemetery.
Born November 1925, in Call City, Okla., Edna came to California with her husband Wesley by way of Texas and Arizona. They raised their family and stayed busy working in the food industry. They enjoyed travelling and eating out. In their travels they often went back to Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Arizona to visit family and old friends. Pearl was known as a hard worker and a great cook. Her family was always a priority to her. Pearl was a faithful member of Keyes Assemblies of God Church.
She leaves behind her husband of 56 years, Wesley Sullivan of Ceres; her eight children, Carolyn Sue of Yuba City, Catherine Marie of Arkansas, Betty Louise of Southern California, Sharon Kay of Marysville, Barbara Jean of Monterey, Nikki, Archie Lee, and Anette, all of Ceres; and 17 grandchildren,and numerous great-grandchildren.
