Ismael A. Saldana

Aug. 24, 1956 - Aug. 4, 2016

Ismael was born in Merced, and raised in Modesto where he started his own business and became an active member in his community.

Ismael and Mary were married in 1973 and he founded Saldana's Carpet Cleaning Service in 1985 which is still going strong today.

Ismael loved being outdoors and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by mother, Adela Alonzo and brothers, Eddie Martinez, Pete Lara and Mario Saldana.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Saldana; his sons, Isacc (Nina) Saldana, and Isaiah (Natalie) Saldana; his daughter, Veronica (Marco) Flores; and 10 grandchildren and his dog Olaf.

He was loved by many people and left a mark on every person he encountered. He will be truly missed by all that knew him.

Visitation is scheduled in the Riverside Chapel at Lakewood Funeral Home August, 12 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

A funeral service is scheduled at 10 a.m. on Saturday August 13 in the Riverside Chapel at Lakewood Funeral Home, Hughson.
