The Miller-Jones Mortuary in Sun City was in charge of arrangements for Jacqueline Jean Morgan Higbee, 76, of Sun City. She died April 24, 2004 at Cypress Gardens Convalescent in Riverside.
Burial was at Menifee Valley Memorial Park in Sun City.
Born June 30, 1927, Mrs. Higbee was a native of Tribune, Kan., and lived in the Ceres and Modesto area for many years. She graduated from Ceres High School. Mrs. Higbee lived in Pago Pago, American Samoa, and Honolulu before moving to Sun City 15 years ago. She was was a homemaker and member of Cherry Hills Golf Club in Sun City. Mrs. Higbee enjoyed playing bridge.
She leaves behind her husband, Kenneth E. Higbee of Sun City; her son, Steven Richard Higbee of Las Vegas; her brother, John Thomas Morgan of Covina; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kristine Marie Avila; and one brother.
