Janet Beason Donaldson

November 24, 1949 – August 3, 2023

Janet Beason Donaldson, age 73, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.

She was born November 24, 1949. Her parents Samuel Beason and Belle Beason raised a beautiful daughter that never took life for granted. She married Don Donaldson at the age 21 and moved to Ceres in 1973 where they resided their entire lives. Jan was a lifelong stay-at-home mother that raised her three sons, Donnie Jr. Randall and Phillip. She was a longtime coach for Ceres Youth Baseball and Ceres Youth Basketball where she cofounded the organization in 1981 with her husband. Jan loved to fish, bowl and play softball as well as play bingo.

She was the biggest fan for her children she was able to live life to the fullest through these simple pleasures.

Jan is survived by her husband, Don Donaldson of Ceres; three sons, Donnie and (Rebecca), Randy and (Michelle), and Phillip; as well as her grandchildren Kaytlin Donaldson, Alyssa Donaldson, and Reese Donaldson; and her sister Debbie and brother Samuel Jr.

Jan was strong and protective of her family will forever be missed.
