Services were held Monday at Lakewood Funeral Home for Lavon Tomlin "Jimmie" Williams, 94, of Ceres. She died Feb. 21, 2012.
Born March 16, 1917 in Lovings, Okla., to Bertha and Robert Tomlin, Lavon moved to California at the age of 17. She married Clyde "Bill" Williams in 1939. They resided for 69 years in the Ceres-Hughson area where Jimmie was a homemaker. Jimmie enjoyed spending time in the kitchen.
She leaves behind three children, Linda Fisher of Hughson, Clyde "Butch" Williams of Hughson and Jackie Tomlinson of Denair; her sister, Norma Jean Winters of Heavener, Okla.; and seven grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill, her parents and six siblings.
