A graveside service was held Tuesday at Ceres Memorial Park for Lilbert "Bud" Cash, 82, of Ceres. He died Oct. 20, 2011 in Ceres of natural causes.
Born July 16, 1929 in Riscin, Ark., Bud lived in Ceres for 39 years. He was employed as a mechanic and retired in 1994 from Patterson Frozen Foods. He enjoyed fishing at Salt Springs Resort for 35 years and competed in bass fishing tournaments. Mr. Cash also sold fishing equipment.
He leaves behind his children, Susan Shoemate and Linda Lines, both of Ceres, and Edward Cash of Salt Lake City, Utah; his sisters, Hazel Morales, Inez Mason and Ione McKinsey, all of Arkansas; and eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife Muriel Cash and his parents.
