Services were held for Lois I. Keener, 91, of Ceres. She died Jan. 10, 2009 at Evergreen Rehabilitation Care Center in Modesto.
Born July 10, 1917, Mrs. Keener was a native of Dustin, Okla. She lived in Ceres since 1947. Mrs. Keener was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God Prophecy in Riverbank.
She leaves behind three children, Bill Keener of Ceres, Jim Keener of Tulare and Ruby House of Bonne Terre, Mo.; 13 grandchildren, Karen, Vicky, Patti, Brenda of Texas, Roger Keener of Winters, Joan, Debbie, Gary of Montana, Michael, Don of Ceres, Lisa and Gina of Modesto, Donny Joe of Missouri; and two stepchildren, Eric Thomas and Aaron Thomas, both of Tulare; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Luther E. Keener and sons Tom Keener and Luther L. Keener.
