A funeral service was held at Allen Mortuary on Monday for Marie V. Rackley, 88, of Ceres. She died Jan. 23, 2012 at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson.
Interment was at Turlock Memorial Park.
Born May 17, 1923 in Muskogee, Okla., to the late Bill and Marie Stacey, Marie came to Turlock as a young child and has lived in Ceres for the last 30 years. She enjoyed crafts, wordbooks, and loved spending time with her grandkids.
She leaves behind two daughters, Gloria Chenault and Wanda Corsaut, both of Ceres; her sister, Billie Crisp of Patterson; and 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husbands Lawton Stewart and Art Rackley, sons Bobby Stewart and Allen Stewart, nine sisters and a brother.
