Michelle Sneed-Melder

October 20, 1954 – July 13, 2024

Michelle Sneed-Melder was born October 20, 1954, in Ceres, California and passed away peacefully on July 13, 2024. Michelle was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. 

She is survived by her cherished brother, Mike Sneed (Debi) of Ceres; her four devoted children, Laura Elleby, Todd Niebauer, Teal Moody and Dane Melder; and her cherished grandchildren, Nixon, Reese, Jazmine, Wyatt, and Eli who also mourn her loss.

Michelle was preceded in death by her loving parents, Floyd and Helen Sneed of Ceres.

Michelle was a graduate of Ceres High School, class of 1972 where she was a yell leader and active in track. 

After high school, Michelle worked for American Airlines as a flight attendant and moved to New York City. She enjoyed a lengthy career with American Airlines.

She lived in Grapevine, Texas and retired in South Padre Island, Texas with her two dogs, Coco and Buddy. 

Michelle’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. She found solace and community at The Met and One Two Church, where she attended regularly and formed lasting friendships.

Michelle loved kayaking and spending time at the beach where she felt a deep connection to nature. 

Her family and dogs were her greatest joys. Her warmth, kindness and unwavering love for her family will be remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her.
