A funeral service was held Monday at New Bethany Missionary Baptist Church for Robert Darrell Clements, 57, of Modesto. He died Monday, May 10, 2004 at Memorial Medical Center.
Burial was at Lakewood Memorial Park under the direction of Evins Funeral Home.
Born Oct. 2, 1946, Mr. Clements was a native of Little Rock, Ark., and lived in Modesto for 19 years. He served in the Navy from 1963 to 1965. Mr. Clements was part owner of Superior Employment Corp. in Ceres for five years. Mr. Clements enjoyed bowling, cooking and sports.
He leaves behind his wife, Bonnie Clements of Modesto; three children, Jason Clements of Cameron Park, Wendy Dickson of Gresham, Ore., and Crisandre Clements of Modesto; his sister, Pat Amburgey of Florida; and one grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Erma Clements.
