Sharon Lane

August 26, 1941 – July 1, 2024

Sharon Lane, 82, passed away in Modesto, California on July 1, 2024.

Born on August 26, 1941, in Ceres, Sharon was a dedicated and respected employee at Lawrence Livermore Laboratory until she retired.

Sharon was a passionate San Francisco Giants fan, a hobby that brought joy and excitement to her life. She will be remembered for her dedication to her career, her love for baseball, and her lasting impact on her family and friends. Her laughter created many great memories, she will be missed.

She is survived by her nephews, Mike and Mitch Lane, and her niece, Lisa Bean, and Stewart her caretaker for her final years. Sharon was preceded in death by her long-time partner, Sharon Morgan, her parents, Ersie and Les Lane, and her brothers, Kent and Doug Lane.

Graveside services will be held at Ceres Cemetery on Tuesday, July 16 at 10 a.m. Salas Brothers Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
