A service was held Thursday at Lakewood Memorial Park for Wayne Matthew Hill, 63, of Modesto. He died July 20, 2008.
The Ceres Chapel of Franklin & Downs was in charge of arrangements.
Born June 21, 1945, Wayne was a native of Oakdale. He enjoyed riding horses with his father, fishing, drawing and singing western songs. Wayne attended the Howard Training Center run by Association for Retarded Citizens in Ceres, and also attended the Alan Short Center.
He leaves behind two sisters, Jean McDonald and Carol Garcia of Modesto. He was preceded in death by parents Nelson J. and Verna L. Hill and brother Jay N. Hill.
