Editor, Ceres Courier,
As a longtime resident of Ceres, I believe that the time for change at City Hall has never been more critical. The residents of our city deserve a leader who listens, communicates effectively, and responds to our communities needs. I am confident that Gary Condit is the leader we must elect to ensure Ceres becomes a safer and cleaner city,
Unfortunately, our current mayor has shown a concerning lack of support for public safety, fiscal responsibility, and the affordability of recreational programs for our youth. The council’s decisions, including directing city staff to dramatically increase fees for families involved in Ceres Youth Soccer and Ceres Youth Baseball, are simply unacceptable.
This election is pivotal for the future of Ceres. My children and grandchildren call Ceres their home. I want my loved ones to thrive in the city I cherish, but significant changes are essential and Gary Condit elected as our mayor can get it done.
