Ceres High School's varsity boys water polo team has no room for error thanks to its recent play.
The Bulldogs dropped a pair of Western Athletic Conference matches last week.
Ceres High fell 13-9 at Los Banos on Thursday.
"We had nine kickouts, six in the fourth period, in a game that wasn't physical," Bulldogs head coach Tracy Bull said. "We also had two goals wiped out by questionable calls in the fourth. That really hurt us."
Ceres High goalkeeper Blake Borba totaled 13 saves against Los Banos.
Tim Campbell led the Bulldogs in scoring with four goals.
Baranski, Caleb Bishop, Xavier Camarillo, Tristan Freitas-Scott and Logan Kier all had one goal.
Ceres High lost 15-2 to unbeaten El Capitan on Oct. 20 in Ceres.
Campbell and Freitas-Scott both scored one goal.
Borba totaled 15 saves.
Second-place Ceres High dropped to 4-3 in the WAC standings.
