Ceres High’s Arturo Estrada, Edmond Lozano and Nathan Miranda advanced to the Sac-Joaquin Section Division-IV Meet, which will be staged this Saturday at Stockton’s McNair High School.

“We’re excited for them,” Bulldogs’ head coach Casey Paulino said. “We have game plans for each of them (for Divisionals).”

Estrada compiled a 1-1 record while taking second in the 126-pound weight class at the conference tourney.

The junior beat Johansen’s Braden Wood (pin, 1:02).

“He showed a lot of heart,” Paulino said.

“He dropped weight in a healthy way,” Paulino said. “He adjusted what he was eating. He didn’t miss a single practice. He worked hard.”
